High Court Judicial Commissioner Datuk Ahmad Shahir Mohd Salleh handed down the sentence on Teoh Lay Lean, 43, after she pleaded guilty to the charge.
The former accounts executive was charged with committing the offence at the roadside along Jalan Van Praagh Road, here on Sept 29, 2016 at 8pm.
The court ordered the accused served her sentence from the date of her arrest on Sept 29, 2016.
Meanwhile the court acquitted and discharged Teoh on two other counts of possessing and trafficking methaphetamine drugs two years ago, after finding that the prosecution had failed to prove a prima facie case against the accused.
Deputy public prosecutor Irwan Suaibon conducted the prosecution while the accused was represented by counsel Benjamin Tan.
