BANGKOK, 12th September 2017 (NNT) - A list of low-income earners eligible for the government's social welfare program will be revealed this Friday.
Government Savings Bank (GSB) Director Chatchai Payuhanaveechai said today more than 3.7 million low-income earners have registered with the GSB since the program was introduced to the public.
Low-income earners are urged to check their eligibility via www.epayment.go.th this Friday. If eligible, they are advised to pick up their welfare cards from September 21st to 30th.
The cards can be collected at the Government Savings Bank, the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives, Krung Thai Bank, provincial offices of the Comptroller General, and Bangkok District Offices.
In other news, Deputy Commerce Minister Sonthirat Sonthichirawong has revealed that an additional 150 products will be featured during the next Blue Flag campaign which will kick off in October. They consist of affordable household and locally-made items.
Eligible low-income earners can use their welfare cards to buy numerous products at Blue Flag stores. Electronic data capture machines will be installed at more than 4,000 Blue Flag stores across the country before the end of this month.
