Asean LIP has a dedicated country site for each member country of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean).
Information generally sourced from the Asean countries or Asean institutions is covered under ASEAN.
Asean LIP has 10 Microsites based on common areas of legal practice.
GENERAL site covers practice areas which are not specifically mentioned.
Asean Law Alert by Asean LIP is a customisable daily e-mail alert. It allows registered (registration is free!) visitors to receive legal updates from countries and/or on practice areas of their choice in one consolidated daily e-mail.
Asean Law Alert (as customised as requested) will be sent to registered visitors on all working days at about 11am Malaysia/ Singapore time (10am Indochina). It will not be available on Saturdays, Sundays and Malaysian public holidays.
Please note that there are days on which we report over 100 new legal developments. It may therefore be prudent to set your Alert based on your priority countries/ practice areas. You can manage your subscription at any time.
To ensure uninterrupted receipt of Asean Law Alert, we recommend that you:
- classify [email protected], [email protected] and [email protected] e-mail addresses under the aseanlip.com domain as “safe senders”, or add them to your “friend list” or “white list” to make sure that they do not end up in your “spam/ junk box”;
- consult your IT administrator if your e-mail server converts all our e-mails to “text only” version. Please allow “display images” for best view. If it is not possible for any reason, please cut and paste the web address of the Alert onto your browser;
- respond promptly to our periodic e-mails intended to validate your e-mail address to continue on our mailing list.
