Following the Ministry of Labor’s announcement of the new decree, the Provincial Employment Office held a meeting to ensure that relevant agencies have a correct understanding of the law and the ministry’s announcement.
Alien employment centers will be established for employers to submit the necessary registration forms for their foreign staff. The centers will only open from July 24th to August 7th. Buriram employers have been asked to visit the alien employment centers at the 26th Military Circle in Samed subdistrict.
Myanmar workers can have their nationality verified in Thailand, while Lao and Cambodian workers must travel back to their home countries to obtain the verification document, before they can obtain work permits in Thailand.
